WEOS is dedicated to providing quality theatrical
experiences for amateurs, performing one major
show each year usually in April at the Theatre
Royal, Newcastle upon Tyne.
We are affiliated to the National Operatic and
Dramatic Association (NODA).
Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays for full cast
and usually Mondays for principals at 7.30 p.m.
from October each year in a church hall or school
location. Nearer the show additional rehearsals
take place, usually on a Sunday afternoon.
We currently have approximately 100 members.
Our annual subscription is £25.
